Bestech implements a line arrangement with 3x diameter impression cylinders for the plate/blanket cylinders and a 4x transfer cylinder. This enables superior printing performance for all stock weights. Even with the heaviest such as cardboard, the large radius cylinder makes contact with the paper easily, and the nearly flat moving action conveys the stock smoothly. A wider range of special printing needs can be met, especially for cardboard and packaging, in comparison to regular presses. Akiyama can also provide custom presses for paper thickness of 1mm.Bestech includes an inline gloss coating system. Printed materials have exceptional beauty and a luxurious finish. Protective printing increases durability of printed items, and powderless printing is being sought for hygienic packaging, from foods to cosmetics and clothing. Adding value to print orders through gloss coating can be a winning strategy for expanding business. High quality drying gloss combined with a dryer can enable quick-dry printing that responds to short delivery times.
The Bestech inline coating system uses a 3/4/3 cylinder arrangement to offer outsize features in a compact configuration. The system offers both UV gloss using a UV hardener and an aqueous gloss using an infrared dryer.
The Bestech Series was developed to improve automation and conserve labor, with print job changeover requiring just 8 minutes. Short preparation times improve manufacturing performance by allowing 3 sets of 1000 copy short print runs to be completed in just 1 hour.
